MNCA add two U-19 cricketers for Odisha camp

The Manipur Cricket Association has added two more cricketers to join the ongoing Men's Under-19 Camp at KITT, Bhubaneshwar, Odisha.

Based on the recommendation of the Junior Men's Selection Committee of MNCA, the two cricketers added are Ningthoujam Rohit Singh of YUCC and Rajkumar Herachandra Singh of CRAU units.

Five more players are put on the reserve list, including Irengbam Nikhil Singh of CRAU, Pukhrambam Rohit Khuman of YWC Langthabal, Aziz Mirza of Al-Ameen, Dibak Naorem of YUCC and Azam Khan of Champ, according to MNCA.

The Manipur Cricket Association in preparation of upcoming BCCI Men's Senior and Under-25 Tournaments will hold a selection trial within this month starting from September 15 onwards.

The selection trial for Under-25 will be held on September 16 to 17, 2021 at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium at 9.30 am. Registration of players of this age group will be done on September 14-15.

As for the Senior Men's group, registration of players will be done on September 16-17 while the selection trial will be held on September 19-20 at the same venue.

The registration formalities will require players to produce RT-PCR Covid Negative Test results done before 72-hour prior to the selection trial. Players are advised not to wear dress/uniform having MNCA Logos or names and they must bring their own cricket gear and necessary kits.
