Delhi, on Monday, began its vaccination drive for age above 18 years free of cost. However, vaccination for the same category is yet to take off in Northeast state Manipur as the state awaits the arrival of more vaccine doses.
Manipur has also been witnessing unprecendented rise in COVID-19 positive cases daily. It recorded 362 new positive cases on Monday. The state's total tally surged to 32,523 on Monday, according to the state health department.
Meanwhile, large consignments of Covid aid, including oxygen concentrators, ventilators, and other medical equipment, have arrived in India from different countries, the External Affairs Ministry said Tuesday.
