The samples were collected on June 10 and their test results were received on June 19. Tthe district health society has packed 130 samples and sent them to the testing center, and the results of 39 inmates were declared.
The remaining 91 inmates of United Builder's School community quarantine centre are going through shock and fear on learning that 29 of the 39 inmates have been tested positive for the virus.
The lack of testing facilities has added to the woe of Tamenglong district which suffers from poor road connectivity. By now, almost all vehicles transporting COVID-19 positive cases and returnees have gradually broken down due to bad roads.
