LMLCC Langmeidong defeated FSC Kakching by a score line of 5-2 goals in the opening match of 2nd Sh Rakesh Singh Second Division Football League 2021 which got underway at DSA Kakching Ground on Friday. For the Langmeidong team Abinash scored twice and A Umakanta, Y Priyokumar and Shyamsunder added a goal each while Th Benjamin and Y Naresh scored a goal each for the FSC team. Six teams which include LMLCC Langmeidong, FSC Kakching, FC Kakching Khunou, SDO Pallel, RFC Hiyanglam and KYWAC Wabagai are participating in the league.

YWC Langthabal hold YDO Kwakeithel Lamdong by 2-2 goals to share a point each in the IWDFA 21st S Birendra Singh Memorial Super Division Football League Tournament 2021 played at Lilong Chajing Ground on Friday. Imran Khan and Ng Cafu scored a goal each for YWC while E Akash and H Dinesh picked up the goal for YDO team to split a point each.
