Guru Nanak Jayanti 2020: Manipur Governor Najma Heptulla extends greetings

Manipur Governor Najma Heptulla extended greetings to the people of Manipur, especially the Sikh brethren, on the eve of Guru Nanak Jayanti 2020.

Extending her greetings, Heptulla appealed to the people of Manipur to follow Guru Nanak's profound teachings and work to strengthen the bond of togetherness. 

"Guru's universal vision and humanism have been an inspiration to people everywhere. Let us all unite to bring happiness in the lives of the suffering and strive for the betterment of humanity. I appeal to one and all to endeavour to follow the Guru's profound teachings and work to strengthen the bond of togetherness. The inspiring teachings of the venerable Guru Nanak guide us always in creating a prosperous and harmonious society," the governor stated.

"I join the people of Manipur in celebrating the Birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak Devji For a peaceful and prosperous Manipur," Heptulla added.
