India's daily COVID-19 positive caseload continues to dip
A decreasing trend in daily records is also seen in the number of sample tested with 9,58,116 sample tested on Monday

The number of new COVID-19 in a span of 24 hours has dipped to 36,470 positive cases, as per the last updates. A decreasing trend in daily records is also seen in the number of sample tested with 9,58,116 sample tested on Monday. A total of 10,44,20,894 samples have been tested so far.

On Monday, the country reported 45,148 new positive cases, and the tally of new COVID-19 positive cases reported on Sunday morning bulletin was 50,129, while Saturday’s figure was 53,370.

However, India remains the country in the world with second highest number of COVID-19 confirmed cases at 79,46,429, including a total number of 6,25,857 active cases.

The recovery rate has increase to 90.62 per cent as on Monday, 63,842 were persons were discharged and the cumulative number of recovered cases is now 72,01,070.

Meanwhile, a total of 488 more patients succumbed to the disease. Dadra And Nagar Haveli And Daman And Diu, UT in western India registers the highest recovery rate of 98.39 per cent with a death ratio of 0.06 per cent.
