Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh extended greetings to the people of Manipur on the festive occasion of Durga Puja.

In his greeting message to the state, the Biren said Durga Puja is celebrated with different themes in various parts of India as it signifies the triumph of righteousness over evil. The festival reminds people of the power of ethical and moral behaviour and the value system which are the bedrock of the society.

“I hope the festival will inspire us to be honest, accountable and disciplined and reinforce the spirit of virtue in us to fight against all social evils,” Biren added.
