Manipur BJP workers to take initiatives during Modi 2.0 celebration

The state level function which was to be conducted on June 5 at state party office, Canchipur will be conducted at state party office located at Nityaipat Chuthek, Imphal.

With the starting of celebration of ‘one year of Modi 2.0’, Manipur Bharatiya Janata Party resolved some points to take initiatives during the week-long celebration, veteran politician Nimaichand Luwang told media in a press conference held at state party office located at Nityaipat Chuthek, Imphal on Sunday.

Nimaichand said various activities had been contributed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his period which could be counted as historic events on achievement for the nation. During his period historic activities like revoke of Article 370; implementation of citizenship amendment Act (CAA), 2019; paved the way for construction of Ram temple; Triple Talaq; Kartarpur corridor opened for Indian pilgrims; Bru-Reang agreement and Bodo agreement, said Nimaichand.

The workers of state BJP have pledged to achieve the goal of ‘Atma Nirbhar Bharat’ (self-reliance); to buy only local products as much as possible to encourage the manufacture of local products and to carry forward awareness campaign to create social awareness, to promote cleanliness and sanitation to fight COVID-19, he added.

He further said as preventive measures to prevent COVID-19, a ‘disinfested tunnel’ has been installed at Nityaipat Chuthek state party office.
