Winners of Online Short Film Contest 2020 announced; 'Am I?' bags First Prize
The Online Short Film Contest was organised as a part of the Independence Day celebrations 2020 by the Information and Broadcasting Ministry along with the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) to create a patriotic mood surrounding this year’s Independence Day.

A short film, Am I?, created by Abhijit Paul has been announced the first prize winner of the Online Short Film Contest which was held as a part of the Independence Day celebrations 2020.
The Online Short Film contest was organised by the Information and Broadcasting Ministry along with the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) to create a patriotic mood surrounding this year’s Independence Day.
Abhijit Paul’s Am I? was followed by Ab India Banega Bharat made by Debojo Sanjiv, second prize winner, and 10 Rupees by Yuvraj Gokul as third prize winner.
The contest went live on July 14, 2020 on the MyGov portal and ended on August 7, 2020. The contest was hosted on the www.MyGov.in website for receiving the entries, the information and Broadcasting Ministry stated in a release.
The theme for the entries revolved around patriotism, equating it to Atmanirbharta (self-reliance) as the new mantra of progress for the nation.
Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar, in a tweet, congratulated the winners of the contest and thanked all the participants for their contribution and making the short film contest a roaring success.
