Meritorious students felicitated at award distribution ceremony
To motivate the students and to bring a change in the society, distribution of award ceremonies is being organised

Students of Toupokpi area who topped in the recent HSLC examination including students who came in 1st division were felicitated with certificate, mementoes along with cash award on the 1st foundation day cum meritorious award ceremony of NK group Private limited company conducted on Friday at Toupokpi, Yairipok.
Outstanding students were also felicitated as a part of the meritorious award distribution ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, chairman of the company, Nongsaibam Sanjit said each individual, including students need to contribute at their best level for the future. To motivate the students and to bring a change in the society, distribution of award ceremonies is being organised, he said.
He further said that education will bring a change for a better society and to bring better education, students need to be honest and sincere while studying.
Sanjit said with the contribution from the staff, legal advisor, director and other staff, the company has completed a year in serving the people. “Each individual has to cooperate with one another while bringing development so that we can compete at the international level,” he said.
Social activist Kiran Yendrembam said some individuals have started criticizing politics without knowing the actual concept of politics. People have already witnessed the present political scenario, those who are trying to portray the politics to get some vested benefit should be avoided, he added.
“As youths are responsible to build the nation, they can improve the community and culture of the society. Moreover, they are the drivers of social transformation through their various talents or uniqueness,” Kiran asserted.
