‘All branches of TKSU will be called KSO branch’

The Thadou-Kuki Students’ Union (TKSU) has stated that with the dissolution of the organisation on Saturday, all its branches will be called as KSO branches from now onwards.

The Thadou-Kuki Students’ Union (TKSU) has stated that with the dissolution of the organisation on Saturday, all its branches will be called as KSO branches from now onwards.

A statement signed by general secretary Lienminlal Gangte said that they had a joint meeting with Thadou-Kuki Students’ Union (TKSU) branches from various colleges and higher secondary schools within Churachandpur district and took resolutions.

It was resolved that all branches of the organisation namely, TKSU Churachandpur College, TKSU Rayburn College, TKSU VK Tawna College and TKSU Donbosco shall henceforth be called  and known as KSO Churachandpur College Unit, KSO Rayburn College Unit, KSO VK Tawna College Unit and KSO Donbosco Unit respectively with immediate effect, it said.

The incumbent leaders of KSO Churachandpur College Unit, KSO Rayburn College Unit, KSO VK Tawna College Unit, KSO Donbosco Unit shall continue with the responsibilities post they are elected for until further notice, the release stated.

Setting up new association or organisation to represent those already represented by KSO Churachandpur College Unit, KSO Rayburn College Unit, KSO VK Tawna College Unit, KSO Donbosco Unit is totally uncalled for and any attempt to set up such association, organisation shall be seriously dealt with, it added.
