Assembly wise combing operation on Covid vaccination in Imphal west
The assembly wise combing operation will be conducted at all polling stations of Konthoujam assembly constituency on November 10, Naoriya Pakhanglakpa assembly constituency on November 11, Langthabal assembly constituency on November 12, Patsoi assembly constituency on November 13 and Wangoi assembly constituency on November 15.

The district administration Imphal West in collaboration with all stakeholders will be conducting assembly wise combing operation on Covid-19 vaccination for 13 assembly constituencies under its administrative control.

An order issued by the deputy commissioner on October 29 had stated that the operation for conducting mass vaccination for all the 18 plus eligible interested persons who are due for the first and second dose of vaccination will begin on November 8 at all polling stations of Sekmai assembly constituency.

As per the order, the assembly wise combing operation will be conducted at all polling stations of Lamshang assembly constituency on November 9, polling stations of  Konthoujam assembly constituency on November 10, Naoriya Pakhanglakpa assembly constituency on November 11, Langthabal assembly constituency on November 12, Patsoi assembly constituency on November 13 and Wangoi assembly constituency on November 15.

The combing operation will also be conducted at Mayang Imphal assembly constituency on November 16, Sagolband assembly constituency on November 17, Uripok on November 18, Thangmeiband on November 19, Keisamthing on November 20 and Singjamei on November 22, it added.

The order stated that the assembly constituency wise combing operation for Covid vaccination will have vaccination sites at all the polling stations of the assembly constituency.

All left out eligible individual voters of the aforementioned polling locations due for Covid vaccination should come out and should take the vaccine, stated the order.

Announcement for the schedule as well as identification of left out beneficiaries shall be taken up by the local clubs/representatives along with the block level officers (BLOS), the order stated.

The order added that the concerned sub divisional officer and sub deputy collector shall be the nodal officer for the one time arrangement.

All BLOS, ASHA, Anganwadi workers shall be present on the day of vaccination, create awareness to the public and find the unvaccinated or 2nd dose left out persons, it added.

Child development project officers (CDPOs) and chief medical officers (CMO) should also sensitise the same, it added.
