TSA Sadar Hills to serve as autonomous body, new executives elected

In a joint meeting of Sadar Hills Thadou bodies held on Thursday at the residence of Thadou Inpi Sadar Hills chairman, various resolutions were adopted to streamline the functioning and administration of Thadou civil bodies in Kangpokpi district.

The Sadar Hills Thadou bodies included Thadou Inpi Sadar Hills, Thadou Youth Association Sadar Hills and Thadou Students' Association (TSA) Sadar Hills.  

It was also declared in the meeting that TSA Sadar Hills will be an autonomous body till TSA general headquarters rectifies its stance and intention over any issues related to Sadar Hills. TSA general headquarters shall no more interfere in any issues related to Sadar Hills without the acknowledgment and permission of TSA Sadar Hills.

Alleging the suspended TSA Sadar Hills vice-president, Lamminsei Sitlhou for indulging in various anti-organisational activities, the joint meeting terminated him from his post and organisations. He has been also warned that if he continues to work and interfere in any issue in the name of TSA Sadar Hills, he will be solely responsible for any untoward incident.

Accepting the resignation letter tendered by various TSA Sadar Hills leaders, Thangkho Chongloi was elected as education secretary and Ngulmang Elmun as finance secretary of TSA Sadar Hills during the meeting. Seboi Elmun and Seilen Hangshing were also elected as vice-chairman (Administration) and vice-chairman (Organisation) respectively of Thadou Inpi Sadar Hills.

The joint meeting also unanimously decided that Thadou Inpi Sadar Hills, Thadou Youth Association Sadar Hills and Thadou Students' Association Sadar Hills shall work unitedly for the welfare of the people. The newly elected leaders were dedicated by Rev Paominlen Kipgen.
