Political discourse, reception ceremony held in Nungba
As many as 3,750 voters from Nungba area attended the programme organised by Nungba Area Voter's Forum (NAVF),  and they jointly declared to support and vote for the intending candidate.

A one-day political discourse cum reception ceremony of INC, NPF and LJP workers to BJP and declaration of support to BJP intending candidate, Nungba assembly constituency Gaidon Kamei was held at Nungba headquarters on Thursday.  

As many as 3,750 voters from Nungba area attended the programme organised by Nungba Area Voter's Forum (NAVF),  and they jointly declared to support and vote for the intending candidate.

It may be mentioned that Nungba is a stronghold of Congress party where its present MLA is a CWC member and a veteran politician. 

At the reception programme, veteran and senior political leaders of Indian National Congress, LJP, NPF and others declared to join the BJP in support of Gaidon Kamei. 

Minister of Tribal Development Vungzagin Valte attended the function as the chief guest.

Personal political advisor to chief minister N Ibohal Singh; spokesperson, BJP Manipur Pradesh Y Nilamani Singh attended the function as the guests of honour while member, BJP Manipur Pradesh H Nando attended the meeting as special guest at the outset. Numerous cultural activities, performance by renowned singers marked the occasion. 

Gaidon Kamei and others lauded PM Narendra Modi, BJP national president JP Nadda, chief minister Manipur N Biren Singh for their excellent work during the BJP rule in India and Manipur. 

Intending BJP candidate Gaidon Kamei also assured to work for the best welfare of the people of Nungba assembly constituency and Manipur.
