Sharda Devi was addressing a programme on Mandal Pravas on Wednesday as chief guest at the residence of Heirok MLA Th Radheshsyam. The programme was organised by BJP Heirok Mandal.

She said that there are several youths in Manipur who have potential and courage. However, Loken saying youths in Manipur are mentally unsound is not acceptable and for which the youngsters should teach him a lesson.

“The ultimate aim of BJP is Congress Mukta Bharat, Congress Mukta Manipur,” said Sharda.

Stressing on the importance of a political party in forming a government, she also made it clear that a political party must stay above the government.

She urged the BJP workers to take key responsibilities reaching out to different welfare schemes initiated by BJP to the people. She also appealed to the party workers to strive towards BJP’s win in not less than 40 seats in the upcoming general election.

MLA Radheshsyam expressed his hope that Sharda’s tireless effort will help in strengthening the party. He also expressed positivity that BJP will win in more than 40 seats in the election saying that more than 3,000 supporters from Congress and other parties in Heirok AC have joined BJP till date.

As part of the programme, cooking gas sets were distributed to around 50 beneficiaries of Ujjwala Scheme in Heirok AC.
