Manipur Education Minister S Rajen Singh has announced Rs 3 lakh cash incentive for Olympic Silver Medalist Saikhom Mirabai Chanu.
We are preparing to fully vaccinate all those who are eligible to be vaccinated, the Manipur education minister said.
Action will also be taken up against those private schools authorities by cancelling recognition if found violating government orders, the minister said.
Rajen said the education department is very strictly supervising the work progress of most of the ongoing constructions through concerned officials of the department.
Rajen said that government schools are also not lesser in comparison with the private schools.
The minister maintained that renowned boxer Mary Kom was inducted to Manipur Police Department at the rank of additional SP as a mark of encouragement and honour for her achievements in sports.
The education minister said that even though ancestors of the state were illiterate, they were much more advanced and possessed scientific knowledge.
