Indian security forces should never travel with their families at a place which has been declared as a ‘disturbed area’ by the Indian Government,” a joint release stated.
Condolence meetings were organised at each units, departments and stations to pay respects to the departed souls.
The insurgents have been handed over to Chakpikarong Police Station for further investigation, the Assam Rifles said.
