The Manipur government on Thursday extended the prevailing lockdown in the entire state till August 15.
The two-day long lockdown in Shillong Urban Agglomeration was promulgated from Monday and will conclude at 5 am on Wednesday.
The state government had earlier extended the lockdown till June 30 with some relaxations.
Inter-district bus service will be allowed to resume considering the hardships faced by the people from far flung places in carrying out small businesses, CM Biren said.
The minister's remarks came in the backdrop of speculation on social media that the national capital might go back into lockdown from June 15 till July 31.
