The workshop cum production programme was organised under the aegis of Chief Minister Artistsing gi Tengbang (CMAT) scheme, State department of arts and culture.

The 30-day long Wari Leeba festival (Narrative art) cum workshop was organised by Rural Development Foundation, Yairipok Bamol Leikai, Thoubal.
In connection with the celebration, a book entitled “Thang-Ta gi Hourakpham”, written by former president of MATAM Guru Rosen Longjamba, was released.
Only a few artistes are able to achieve success and sustain themselves as professional artiste in Manipur, director in-charge of JN Dance Academy P Bilash Singh said.
Nata Sankirtan was introduced during the reign of Bhagyachandra and recognised as intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO in 2013 for its uniqueness, Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy (JNMDA) director in-charge P Bilash Singh said.
