The Manipur Human Rights Commission (MHRC) on Wednesday directed the authorities to perform an autopsy on the body of the deceased T Rakesh within a period of seven days.
"If there was any misunderstanding with any individual or organisation, the local club or Meira Paibis should have been informed instead of killing him."
The cause of the death remains unknown but drug overdose is suspected.
