YWU Kakching thrashed Juvenile Association, Kakching by 4-1 goals in 20th Ksh Leihao Devi Memorial Super Division Football League 2022 organised by DSA Kakching at Lamjao Playground.
Juvenile Association proved no match for YWU team as the latter rattled its opponent defence scoring three goals in the first half itself.
Ksh Johnson started off with a strong message that he meant business, striking the first goal in the 8th minute of play and went on to consolidate his team strength with his second goal in the 25th minute.
But in between, A Bishan also worked in tandem with Johnson, to score a goal in the 20th minute to better the YWU position. Juvenile Association, despite being squeezed in a tight spot, breaks free in the 21st minute with M Pravesh finding the gaps to the diving keeper to trail by 1-3 goals.
Enjoying the upper hand, YWU made the final approach with Ksh Kanta firing home the fourth goal in the 67th minute for the victory. YWU player Vandaman Ch and JA player S Shankar were shown the red card for infield brawl at the 77th minute by referee M Nimai Singh.
KMSWC got the better of SAO Kakching by 2-1 goals. Md Meraj Alam and Md Asif scored for KMSWC team while M Minaketon picked up the lone goal for SAO team.
