YWC Langthabal, YUCC Kwakeithel Moirangpurel register huge wins in Rajningthou U-16 Cricket

YWC bowler S Robinson was chief wrecker as he claimed 4 wickets for 5 runs from 6 overs.

YWC Lanthabal posted 8 wickets victory against TCMDC Thongju in the 3rd MNCA U-16 Boys Naorem Rajningthou Memorial Trophy 2021-22 played at YCWO Ground, Heinoupok.

TCMDC batsman Rain made a herculean effort hitting an unbeaten 68 runs from 75 balls but as wickets fell cheaply at the other end, they managed to put up 112 runs for 10 wickets from 25.1 overs. Rojesh contributed 12 runs.

YWC bowler S Robinson was chief wrecker as he claimed 4 wickets for 5 runs from 6 overs while Dailesh took 3 wickets for 22 runs, Albert and Chingkheinganba fetched 1 wickets each.

YWC batsman had an easy picking with Rickymenan making an unbeaten 40 runs from 75 balls while S Robinson made 11 runs from as many balls, to reach the target in 18.1 overs for 2 wickets. Rohit contributed 21 runs. TCMDC bowler Valindra claimed 1 wicket. YWC bowler S. Robinson was declared the Man of the Match for his 4 wickets haul.

In the other match, YUCC Kwakeithel Moirangpurel registered a huge 220 runs against TRAU Kwakeithel played at ABA Ground, Khetrigao.

YUCC openers made a solid start after being sent to bat first with Thoiba getting 64 runs while M. Ricky made 28 runs to pile up 266 runs for 10 wickets from 29.4 overs. Tailender M. Medhajit cracked 41 runs while L. Kiran struck 19 runs.

TRAU bowler Dikasal claimed 4 wickets while Swabhiman and Indrakumar picked up 3 wickets each.
Chasing the target, TRAU batsmen were bundled out for a mere 46 runs for 10 wickets from 16.1 overs.

Indrakumar was the lone batsman to reach double figures with 15 runs. YUCC bowler Khumanthem Prakash claimed 5 wickets for 5 runs from 3 overs and was adjudged the Man of the Match.
