YSWA Utlou outplayed KPFC Kha Potshangbam by 4-1 goals to better their position in the 1st Late Th Ibopishak Singh Super Division Football League 2022-23 played at Mini Stadium, Bishnupur.
Both teams had a hectic moment as they rubbed shoulders to great extent for the leading goal and YSWA took off when O Mikesh Singh found the gap in the 12th minute. But equally competitive was KPFC ranks as they ransacked the YSWA defence in the 20th minute with G Gajendra beating the keeper to level 1-1 goals in the first half.
However, YSWA turned the table in the second half and took complete control of the game as O Mikesh Singh in the 54th minute, N Ajitkumar in the 80th minute and L Jackson in the 86th minute netted home to bring up the victory. KPFC player S Mutilal received a yellow card in the match.
In the other match, TYDA Toubul consolidated its position beating Lashal Leimapokpam by 2-1 goals. Lashal looked promising in the beginning when H Jotin got the opening goal in the 8th minute of play but TYDA jumped back into the fray with S Boyai fetching the equaliser in the 40th minute and later Tenbilung got the winning goal in the 60th minute.
Heirok Maipakpi Football: Thoubal FC beat EED Lamding by a solitary goal in 1st Maipakpi Memorial Trophy 2022 Nine a Side State Level Men's Open Football Tournament played at City Club Playground.
Langamba delivered the lone winning goal for Thoubal FC. In the other matches, Yairipok FC beat Samaram FC by 2-1 goals. Nawaz proved saviour for Yairipok team as he scored both the goals while the lone goal for Samaram was made by Open Singh.
KMYFC Kiyamgei drubbed Ukhongshang FC by 3-0 goals with Anash Khan fetching all three goals for his hattrick.
