U-25 Men's Col CK Nayadu Trophy: Manipur lead with 143 runs

Manipur led by 143 runs against Tamil Nadu in the U-25 Men's Col CK Nayadu Trophy 2021-22 played at CAP Ground 3, Puducherry.

The Day One of the tournament saw, Manipur winning the toss and decided to bat first where they managed 155 runs for 10 wickets from 83.1 overs in the first innings.

Skipper Kishan Singh, who opened the innings cracked a fine half century with 51 runs from 161 balls while Bikash Singh and Nitesh Singh hit an identical 29 runs and Guniram A got 13 runs.

Tamil Nadu bowlers Ajith Ram S claimed 4 wickets for 43 runs from 29 overs while Mohanprasath S and RS Jaganthsinivas took 2 wickets each.

In reply, Tamil Nadu were 12 runs for no loss from 4 overs with S Arvind making 4 runs while B Sachin got 8 runs.
