TYDA Toubul drubbed NCYWO Nungsai Chiru by 3-1 goals in the 1st Late Th Ibopishak (Ningthouren) Singh Super Division Football League 2022-23 organised by DSA Bishnupur at Mini Stadium.
Surjakanta Singh proved to be the hero of TYDA with all three goals for the comprehensive win. The first half proved to be an evenly fought game as NCYWO team rattled its opponent defence when R Jinneilen fetched the opening goal in the 15th minute of play.
However, TYDA replied positively when Surjakanta struck his team opening goal for the equaliser in the 39th minute. The second half belonged to TYDA as Surjakanta let loose and banged home two goals in the 54th minute and 83th minute for the victory. NCYWO player Thangason Jatak and TYDA player S Albert got booked with yellow cards in the match.
In another match, GDC Thinungei blanked KPFC Kha Potshangbam by 2-0 goals with Herojit and Dhanabir scoring a goal each for the win.
Meanwhile, YDO Lamdong and SKYC Awang Sekmai settled for a goalless draw to share a point each in the 22nd S Birendra Singh Memorial Super Division League 2022 played at SKYC Ground, Awang Sekmai.
