Diana English School, Porompat edge out Free Progress Academy, Uyumpok by 6-5 goals during penalty shootout in the 61st District Level Subroto Mukherjee Football Tournament for U-14 Boys organised by DYASO Imphal East and played at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong.

Free Progress Academy had the early advantages as they took the lead from W Lun goal in the 9th minute of play but they failed to safeguard their defence as Diana English School, fetched the equaliser from Th Dingding in the 40th minute, resulting in a penalty shootout.

Diana ES converted five of their kicks from Th Yohenba, Y Roshan, T Newton, Mohadish and K Alvish for the victory while Free Progress Academy managed to put in four goals from Y Johny, Y Sachin, S Dhanachandra and W Lun.

In another match, Success School, Sawombung also got the better of Royal Academy School by 6-4 goals during penalty after both teams were locked with 1-1 goals during normal time play.

Unique Model Academy, Heingang beat Youngstar D English School, Angtha by 2-1 goals with K Kingson and Ch Reevaldo scoring a goal each for the Unique Model team. The lone goal for Youngstar was fetched by L Yohenba.

Kangla Ukok MES also registered a 4-3 goals win over Young Pioneers Academy. S Munishang scored two goals while Y Arjun and L Borish got one each for Kangla Ukok team while for Young Pioneers team, S Lamnganba scored all three goals for his hattrick.
