Timreichon Kasomwoshi of Ukhrul will clash with Sanabam Surmala Chanu of Bisnupur in the final of the Youth Women 48 kg category in the State Level Boxing Championship 2021 organised by MABA at Boxing Ring, Khuman Lampak.
Competing in the Youth Women 48 kg semi final bout, Timreichon Kasomwoshi faced stiff resistance from Pinky Oinam Chanu of Imphal West but ultimately in the end, the former prevailed to book her final berth.
In the other semi final of the same weight category, S Surmala Chanu relatively had an easy match against T Rojibala Chanu of Imphal East, to record her win enroute to the final.
As for the Sub-Junior Boys 55 kg bout, L Mangansana of Imphal East will take on Jayraja Thokchom of Imphal West in the final while in 40 kg, N Naocha of Imphal East will fight Th Manitomba of Thoubal in the final match.
In the Elite Men 57 kg, L Edison Singh of Imphal West will test his skill against Mangte Loya Kom of Chandel in the final bout while in the 60 kg category, Shantikumar Laikhuram of Thoubal will meet L Boyai Meitei of Kakching in the final.
The Junior Boys 46 kg final bout will have H Rishi Mangang of Imphal West taking on Awungshi Jingo of Ukhrul.
