Chirom Manithoiba Meitei of Bishnupur entered the semi final of the State Level Boxing Championship 2021 held at Boxing Ring, Khuman Lampak.

Manithoiba Meitei competing in the Sub-Junior boys 46 kg quarter final bout beat S Bikash Meitei of Kakching, enroute to the semi final.

As for the Junior Girl quarter final bout of 48 kg, Mayengbam Sagar Chanu of Bishnupur beat L.Bishorita Devi of Imphal East, to book her semi final berth.

The other semi finalists in the Junior boys category are Tompok Singh of Thoubal in 50 kg, N.Chinglensana Singh of Imphal East in 50 kg, L Lamnganba Mangang of Imphal West in 54 kg and Kh.Bikash of Bishnupur in 54 kg.

In the Youth Men's Md.Alfas of Thoubal in 60 kg and Th.Leninson Meitei of Imphal West in 60 kg also moved into the semi final. As for the Sub-Junior Boys 52 kg category, Ngamba Longjam of Imphal West and A.Ronaldo Meitei of Bishnupur also booked their semi final berth.
