Manipur were cruising for 80 runs for 1 wicket against Mizoram when stumps were drawn in Day One of the Men's U-19 Cooch Behar Trophy 2021-22 played at Vikash Cricket Ground, Bhubaneswar.

Mizoram after winning the toss, opted to field first where Manipur in the first innings made a good start with opening partnership of 65 runs between Suresh Singh, who hit 45 runs from 111 balls and Champion who remain remain not out with 20 runs. Rk Herachandra to remain as night watchman with 12 runs from 32 balls.

Mizoram bowler Prem Layak claimed the lone wicket of Suresh Singh of the day.

AIFF Talent Hunt result: The All Manipur Football Association has informed that four players who attended the Talent Hunt programme conducted by the AIFF Talent Hunt Academy at Artificial Turf Ground on October 29 to November 1 are to submit their credentials to AMFA office on or before December 10 of this month. The four players are KSurendra Singh, T Kelvin Singh, Nikolash Naharakpam and O Arun Singh. They are informed to submit original Birth Certificate, Aadhaar Card and School Identity Card.

Suspension Revoked: The AMFA has revoked the suspension of six Referees/Players who flouted the regulation norms of participating in unauthorised tournaments, with immediate effect.
The six are Th Dineshwor Singh, Th Kiran Singh, L Ropendra Meitei, N Amarjit Singh, Ng Prem Singh and T Surjakanta Singh, according to a press release from AMFA assistant general secretary, L Naba Singh.
