ICSA Irengbam beat WFA Kakching by 3-0 goals in the 12th AMFA Senior Women's Football League 2021-22 (Pre-Qualifying Round for IWL) and played at Artificial Turf, Lamlong Thongkhong.
This is ICSA's first victory in the league and came as a big relief with the win, to boost the team spirit. Goalless in the first half, ICSA made a better effort with their shot than WFA and it was Th Ranjita Devi who struck the opening goal in the 47th minute and later went on to fetch her second goal in the 63rd minute. I Priyadashini scored the third goal in the 72nd minute for the win.
In the other matches, KRYPSA Naoremthong scored over MPSC Police HQ by a solitary goal with Hemam Linthoi scoring the all important goal in the 27th minute.
The other match between ESU Wangkhei and YWC Langthabal ended in a goalless draw to share a point each.
