ATVFA Thangmeiband outsmarted TBSFA Tabungkhok by 10-1 goals in the 4th Sangai Trophy Veterans' Football Championship 2022 played at Artificial Turf, Lamlong Thongkhong.

In a one sided game, ATVFA showed little mercy to TBSFA as the former started ransacking the defence to have a scoring spree, much to the dismay of its opponent. Except for a goal in the 25th minute from Ng Inaocha, TBSFA Tabungkhok had nothing much to do as they completely pushed to their own territory.

ATVFA Thangmeiband open the goal floodgates in 2nd minute of play with Ngamkholen getting the opening goal and later he went on to adds three more goals while Khupneingam scored five goals and M Devananda fetched one goal for thumping victory, to grab full points.

In another match, Football Lovers Association Manipur got the better of VSA Sora by 2-1 goals to brighten their chances in the championship.

FLAM, after much effort in the game, came up with the opening goal from Ak Mahesh in the 12th minute of play and later A Jayenta consolidated for the Football Lovers team in the 28th minute to enjoy the lead in the first half.

  Although late in the game, VSA Sora managed to get their opening goal from Md Akbar in the 51st minute but it could make little difference to the fate of the match.
