Sadar Hills Super Division Football League: KSC emerges champion, FC Zalen runner up

Kuki Sporting Club emerged Champion in the 8th K Hangshing Memorial Sadar Hills Super Division Football League.

Securing 12 points from three wins in its four matches and after-action initiated against Football For Change, C Aisan Saikul for breaching rules, Kuki Sporting Club emerged Champion in the 8th K Hangshing Memorial Sadar Hills Super Division Football League.

The Kuki Sporting Club had defeated Kangpokpi Youth Union, FC Zalen, and Saikotjang Youth Club earning nine points while losing a match to Football For Change. However, after the action was initiated against Football For Change, for breaching the rules, KSC was awarded another three points for the match they had lost to Football For Change earning them a total of twelve points.

Meanwhile, Football Club Zalen who had secured six points from two wins was also awarded another three points for the match they had played with Football For Change earning a total of nine points to become the runner-up in the league.

According to the organizing committee, Sadar Hills District Sports Association(SHDSA), Kangpokpi Manipur a complaint was made against Reuben Letkhotinchon, CRS No. PL0000079102, of Football For Change, Lenminlun Doungel, CRS No.PL0000042854 and Solomon Hmangte, CRS NO PL0000078015 of KSC.

It stated that the executive members of SHDSA thoroughly examined the subject matters of the complaints in detail while giving focus on the existing rules/procedures of transfer/registration of players as per guidelines given by the All Manipur Football Association (AMFA).

It continued that after a thorough examination of the documents of the players concerned and after due verification from AMFA, Imphal, and intimation given by AMFA, the executive meeting has adopted resolutions to forfeit the result of the three matches of Football For Change as its player Reuben Letkhotinchon, CRS No. PL0000079102 has not completed transfer and registration procedures even though a No Objection Certificate (NOC) which is one of the eligibility criteria for participating in the League was produced after the match on November 25 issued by Odisha FC the same day.

In its official memorandum signed by the President, Sadar Hills District Sports Association, Chongpu Kipgen, it was stated that after forfeiting the results of the three matches of Football For Change, KSC is declared Winner and FC Zalen as runner up in the 8th K. Hangshing Memorial Sadar Hills Super Division Football League 2021.

It was also further stated that KSC and FC Zalen will play the closing friendly match on November 29 where the prize distribution ceremony will also conduct.

Mentioned may be made that Football For Change was the only unbeaten team in the league with three wins and one draw.
