Th Hursh of Imphal West DBA made it to the semi final of the Boys Single U-15 category in the 66th State Open Badminton Championship 2022 played at MBA Indoor Hall, DM College Campus.

In the quarter final matches, Hursh beat compatriot L Thoungam Singh by 21-16, 20-22 and 21-19 points, enroute to the semi final. L Kalo Truman of SDBA beat L Luwangamba of IWDBA by 2-0 sets while S Gung Singh of TDBA beat E Shitaljit of KDBA by 2-0 sets, to book their semi final berth as well.

In the Mixed Double U-15 quarter final, the pair of M Bhairav and M Debika of BDBA, Neelachal Ph and Kh Senlina of IWDBA and Th Kamaljit and Binota Singha of JDBA also proceeded into the semi final.

As for the Girls Single U-13 category, Jianna L of IWDBA, M Rebika Devi of IEDBA, Th Roslinda of IWDBA and Chanulembi Sapam of SDBA also reached the semi final.
