Neroca FC beat Poloi Football Club by a narrow margin of 5-4 goals in the Col Ksh Arunkumar Memorial 3rd Inter Club Futsal Tournament 2023-24 played at Artificial Turf, Lamlong Thongkhong.
Both teams were quite even in the first half with Neroca FC jumping on every opportunity with Gangmei Lanjonlung fetching the first goal in the 3rd minute and consolidated with another goal in the 10th minute.
However, Poloi FC bounced back with Md Nawaz Khan in the 14th minute and Mohd. Jayet delivered the equaliser a minute later.
Proceedings into the second half, Neroca FC gained the lead via L Sushil who struck twice as N Deepak fetched a goal too. But as the game got tougher in the second half, Neroca FC lost N Deepak to a red card in the 35th minute from double caution.
Poloi FC third and fourth goals were scored by S. Sajaan Khan and T. Bikramjit.
In the other matches, Classic Football Academy continued to dominate the tournament beating Sang-Gai Football School, Keinou by 3-1 goals while Balananda Football Academy held on Mayang Imphal United FC by 5-5 goals to share a point.
