Tripura Pythons wriggled around Sikkim Pandas with little breathing space but the latter broke free in 36 minute of the first half play when Luxmi Tamang scored the opening goal for the lead.

The hot humid condition felt to deter the teams as both teams rubbed their shoulders but the day seems to belong to Sikkim Pandas as Lako Phuti came up with the winning goal in 64 minute to seal the fate of Tripura Pythons.

In the other match, Manipur Sangais ran amok, thrashing Assam Rhinos by 10-0 goals to collect full points. The game proved a one sided affair as Manipur struck seven goals alone in the first half period.
