NE Duleep Trophy team: Four players selected from Manipur

MLA RK Imo Singh, who is also the president of Manipur Cricket Association, congratulated the NE Duleep Trophy team and extended best wishes to them.

Four players from Manipur have been selected to be a part of the prestigious cricket tournament - NE Duleep Trophy team.

MLA RK Imo Singh, who is also the president of Manipur Cricket Association, congratulated the NE Duleep Trophy team and extended best wishes to them.

"Congratulations to all d 4 players from Manipur who got selected to be a part of NE Duleep Trophy team. It is a proud moment to witness d most number of players from Manipur to represent in d prestigious cricket tournament. Best wishes to all of them n the rest of the team," Imo tweeted on Wednesday morning.

The players from Manipur are - Bishworjit K, RK Rex, L Kishan Singa and Md Al Bashid.

Others in the Northeast Zone Duleep Trophy Squad included two players each from Sikkim - Ashish Thapa and Ankur Malik; Mizoram - Kishan Lyngdoh, Dippu Ch Sangma, Meghalaya - G Lalbiakvela, Bobby Zothansanga, and Arunachal Pradesh - Techi Neri, Techi Doria.

Three players are from Nagaland - Jonathan Rongsen, Khrievitso Kense, Hokaito Zhimomi, while Meghalaya’s Chiang D Shira will be the manager of the side.

The East Zone Duleep Trophy Squad included Assam's ParagRiyan and Mukhtar Hussain and Tripura's Mani Sankar Mura Singh.
