International Muay Thai 2022 bronze medalists N Leegardson and Kh Stelin were feted by Patsoi legislator S Kunjakeshwar Singh at Tera Pukhri Complex, Imphal West on Friday.

MLA Kunjakeshwar alias Keba presented a traditional ‘lengyan fee’ and a token of monetary assistance and heaped praises and blessings to the duo for a brighter and more promising future.

Naorem Leegardson Mangang and Khundrakpam Stelin Singh had bagged a bronze medal each in IFMA Muay Thai Youth World Championship 2022 held at Malaysia from August 9-21.

Leegarson got the bronze medal in Amateur bout of 44kg in age group of 12-13 years while Stelin bagged the bronze medal in Wai Kru event in 16-17 years category.

Leegardson is the son of N Johnson and Bijayeta Devi and Stelin parents are Kh Somorjit and Subita Devi of Kongba Laishram Leikai.
