Champ Khagempalli posted 10 wickets victory over SCCC Singjamei Thongam Leikai in the 6th MNCA W Prahlada and W Ramananda Elite Tournament 2021-22 played at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium, Luwangsangbam.

SCCC Singjamei won the toss and made a disastrous start with opener Ulenyai Khwairakpam crossing the double figure mark with 11 runs to put up 75 runs for 10 wickets from 24.5 overs. Champ bowler Md Ahsanul Kabir was quite severe with his bowling performance, claiming 4 wickets for 8 runs from 5.5 overs while L Ansh got 3 wickets and Nitesh Sedai, Th Nicolson and S Shankar fetched one wicket.

In reply, Champ batsman reached the target without losing a wicket with Ch Bonny hitting an unbeaten 17 runs while S Shankar too remained not out with 55 runs for the comfortable victory.

Later, Champ bowler Md Ahsanul Kabir was adjudged the Man of the Match for his 4 wickets haul.

There will be no match on Sunday owing to Eid Ul Zuha festival.
