The Manipur Cricket Association (MNCA) has picked 15 players along with seven reserve players to represent Manipur Senior Men's team in the BCCI Vijay Hazare Trophy 2023-24 to be played at Rajasthan from November 23, 2023.
The 15 playing members are M. Langlonyamba Singh, Rajkumar Rex Singh, Bishworjit Singh Konthoujam, Kangabam Priyojit Singh, Ngariyanbam Johnson Singh, Md Sultan Karim, Pukhrambam Prafullomani Singh, Muhammed Al Bashid, Md Bashir Rahamna, Saddam Ahmed Shah, L Kishan Singha, Bikash Singh, Chingakham Bidash Meitei, Lamabam Ajay Singh and Thokchom Kishan Singh.
In the reserve list are Y Karnajit, L Ronald, Suraj Kharibam, L Sanatomba Roy, Ch Mehul Shreth Singh, Sunil Salam and L Robertson Singh.
Meanwhile, the MNCA has also selected eight cricketers who will watch the second semifinal of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023 LIVE at Eden Garden, Kolkata on November 16, 2023.
The eight cricketers who were selected during the lottery draw at MNCA office at Luwangsangbam are Dhanraj Sapam of YUCC in category of Men's U-16, Yendrembam Bharatngamba of TRAU in Men's U-19, Kongjengbam Sumankumar Singh of YUCC in Men's U-23 and Salam Pinky of CDCC in Men's Senior.
In the Women category are Langlen Ningthoujam of AKSDO in Women's U-15, Nilopher Tokpam in Women's U-19, Ronibala Thokchom in Women's U-23 and Ningthoujam Monica Devi (all of THAU) in Women's Senior.
