Model Club, Singjamei pulled off a 8 wickets win against Force Khetrigao in the 6th MNCA W Prahlada and W Ramananda Elite Tournament 2021-22 played at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium, Luwangsangbam.

Registering their second win from four matches, Model Club batsman produced some sparkling batting display, to override Force Khetrigao score, losing just 2 wickets for the scintillating win, to grab full point. As for the Force team, it was their consecutive third loss in the tournament.

Earlier in the day, Force Khetrigao made 161 runs for 8 wickets from 30 overs with the highlight being from opener Saddam Ahmed Shah, who got 56 runs off 51 balls while Arshad Ali made 23 runs and Khushru Pravez got 20 runs. Model bowlers Dibak bagged 3 wickets while Somorjit and Veteshor Sharma fetched 1 wicket each.

Model Club batsman relatively had an easy chase to the target as both openers Y Karnajit made 65 runs from 48 balls while Th Deepak got 33 runs, to lay a solid foundation. With their departures, Kisan Singh Wahangbam took charge hitting an unbeaten 54 runs from 46 balls and Langlonyamba got 4 runs from as many balls. Force bowler Pravesh and Mushir Alam claimed 1 wicket each. Model Club batsman Kisan Singh Wahengbam was adjudged as Man of the Match for his unbeaten 54 runs.
