Model Club posted a 5 wickets victory against YPHU Lalambung in the 9th T-20 Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament 2022 played at Luwangpokpa Cricket Ground, Luwangsangbam on Sunday.

The YPHU batsman made a slow start and put up 89 runs for 10 wickets from 17.5 overs with Dularva making 22 runs while Hemanta got 12 runs. Model Club bowler Bobin claimed 3 wickets while Cherish, Tejkumar got 2 wickets each.

Chasing the target, Model Club reached the target easily losing 5 wickets but Cherish committed a stand with an unbeaten 25 runs to see them through for the victory in 16 overs. Santosh contributed 18 runs. YPHU bowler Meiraba got 2 wickets while Sanjoy and Dularva fetched 1 wickets each.
