Manipur Kung-Fu team left Imphal for Gujarat on Sunday to take part in the 7th National Kung-Fu Championship 2022 which will be conducted at Shree Dakhini Gijarat Shtriya , Rajput, Surat, Gujarat from November 25 to 27.
The championship is jointly organised by Kung-Fu committee, Gujarat and Shaolin Traditional Kung-Fu Federation of India under the aegis of the All India Kung-Fu Federation. A total of 40 Kung-Fu players including 25 women players representing Manipur are taking part in the championship.
Players from 27 states across the country, including Manipur, Nagaland, Assam, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Kerala, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Punjab, Gujarat, Pondicherry and Goa will be competing among each other at various events.
The players will be competing at Sanda, Taolu, Tai-chi, Sujiao, Wing-chun, Chi-gong, Tongjigong, Chi-cong, Tuishu, other traditional Kung-Fu and Modern Kung-Fu sports events.
