Manipur after winning the toss, decided to bat first in a limited 50 over match. Although Manipur had a bad start as the top order failed to push the run rate except for opener Andyroshan who got 23 runs, others fell cheaply.

But with the entry of Johnson, the scorecard gets moving as he hammered 70 runs from 104 balls while Kishan got 59 runs from 64 balls and Bikash Singh struck 62 runs from 24 balls to put up 281 runs for 6 wickets from alloted 50 overs.

Meghalaya bowler Chamcham, Mukesh and Bibek claimed 2 wickets each.

Manipur bowler Bikash Singh came up with his career best figure of 5 wickets haul for 47 runs from 8 overs while Nitesh, Alfred Hmar got 2 wickets each and Ch.Ranjan chipped in with a wicket.
