The Manipur Amateur Boxing Association has selected 18 boxers and five officials to represent Manipur in the 5th National Youth Men and Women Boxing Championship, 2022 to be held at SRM University Kattankulathur, Chennai from July 6-12.

The male boxers in the squad are Tompk Th, L Dipak, L Lamngamba, Chungneireng M Kom, W Lamjingba, Chinglemba M, N Medhajit, N Jackson and L Rahul Singh while the female boxers are Venika Y, K Bandana, E Thoithoi Chanu, H Griviya, Th Prameshwori, Th Kunjarani, Melody Kilong, Ksh Silky and Hmangte Cindy Kom.

The team officials are L Kishan Singh, Sonu Ashok Tak, Ch Bijeta, Y Priyo Meitei and Th Jenimax. The team left Imphal today for the championship.
