Luching Lukhram registered a 8-0 game win over Devson Singh in the Men's Open of the 11th CYLC State Open Tennis Tournament, 2022 which got underway at Singjamei Chingamakha Court.

In the other matches of the Men's Open category, Bona Singh beat Churchil by 8-2 game while Nonginsana overcame Suraj by 8-7(7-4) game, Ratul Mahata beat Amol by 8-0 game, Bicky beat Nonginsana by 8-0 game, Lucas overshadowed Prasana by 8-0 game and Ch.Chingei beat Jogendra by 8-2 game.

As for the age group of above 45 double category, the pair of E Bhumeshwor and P Sanjoy beat N Tomba and his partner Bit Irom by 8-4 game.

Bona and his partner Rabi beat Ratan and Babloo by 8-0 game while Lucas and Balkrishna got the better of Jayanta and Manikanta by 8-6 game. Rakesh and his partner Manikanta also prevailed upon Balkrishna and Rupam by 8-5 game and Ramkumar and Romeo beat Bhume and Sanjoy by 8-5 game.

It may be mentioned that 19 players are participating in the Men's Open category while there are 18 pairs in the age group of above 45 and 13 pairs in the age group of 45 plus category.
