The (L) SS Mohring MT tamed Lamkang Brothers FC by 3-1 goals to claim the Champion title of the 2nd Veteran Football Tournament 2022 played at Mini Stadium, Chandel on Tuesday.

SS Mohring MT emerged quite strong from the beginning of the match as they never lose possession of the ball and managed to get their kick right in the 32nd minute when Stephen fetching the opening goal and later PS Bekan consolidate just before half time whistle with a goal in the 38th minute to reign the match by 2-0 goals.

The Lamkang Brothers, who had a bad run in the first half play, get their foothold after much sweating, and it was Th Betil who came up with the opening goal in the 58th minute to provide a ray of hope in the game. But their joy shortlived as SS Mohring team made more attempt and got it right in the 79th minute with KT Ruwngam scoring the winning goal for the championship title.
