Jonlhing Veng shine on Friday as it triumphed in Under-15 football, Women's Volleyball, Veteran football and had a draw in the main football in the ongoing 18th Kangpokpi Inter Ward Tournament 2022 at Brigadier M. Thomas Ground.

In under 15 football this morning, Jonlhing Veng had an easy 4-1 victory over Lamdil Veng with Thangminkai's brace in the 8th and 46th minutes, and another two goals from Ngamgunsang (12th) and Lungougin(39th) while Seigoulun pulled back a goal for Lamdil veng in the 18th minutes.

In women's volleyball, Lamdil veng defeated Lendou veng 3-2 (21-5, 19-21, 18-21, 21-12, 15-6) in the first match while Jonlhing Veng defeated Phungtin Veng 3-0(21-9, 21-6, 21-8) in the second match.

In men's volleyball, Kholmun Veng defeated Kilkhong Veng 3-0 (25-10, 25-21, 25-17) in the first match while in the second match Nanglhun Veng defeated Enjakhup veng 3-1 (17-25, 25-11, 25-15, 25-16).

In the first game of veteran football, Kholmun veng had a 1-1 draw with Lamdil veng after a narrow 0-1 loss in their previous match while today's draw with Kholmun veng was their second draw for Lamdil veng.

Thanglenlal found the lead in the 27th minute for Lamdil veng which was shortly equalised by Kholmun veng through Lamminhao in the 36th minutes.

In the second veteran match, Jonlhing Veng edged past Sipinthei veng 2-0. Mangminhao (14th) and Nehgoulen (20th) scored for the winning side.

In the main football, Dr GG Crozier Mission Compound had a 6-3 win over Lendou veng. Paogunmang (7th), Khupsanglen (11th, 20th), Khaigun(26th), Demkhoseh (34th), and Lenjakham (51st) scored Dr. GG. Crozier side while Seigouthang (25th OG) and Haogunchon (46th, 59th) score for Lendou veng.

The second main football match between Jonlhing Veng and Moltinchan Veng ended in a 1-1 draw. Premson scored for Moltinchan Veng in the 5th minute and was equalised by Haominlen of Jonlhing veng in the 50th minute.

On Saturday, in under-15 football, Vengthah will play Sipinthei veng at 8:00 am.

In women's volleyball, Japhal Veng will play Kholmun Veng in the first match and Nanglhun Veng will play Ahsijolneng Veng in the second match.

In men's volleyball, Ngambom Veng will play Lendou Veng in the first match while Dr. GG. Crozier Mission Compound will play Kholmun Veng in the second match.

In veteran football, Ahsijolneng Veng will play Ngambom Veng in the first match while Dr. GG. Crozier Mission Compound will play Vengthah in the third match.

In main football, Lamdil veng will play Phungtin Veng in the second match while Chengjapao Veng will play Kholmun veng in the fourth match.
