KASC Khomidok pulled off a 8 wickets win against TRAU Kwakeithel in the 3rd MNCA U-16 Boys Naorem Rajningthou Memorial Trophy 2021-22 played at YCWO Ground, Heinoupok.

KASC opted to field first after winning the toss and their strategy worked after TRAU batsman failed miserably, managing just 42 runs for 10 wickets from 19 overs. Indrakumar and Bharatnganba got an identical 5 runs each as the top run getter.

KASC bowler Rahis Khan claimed 4 wickets while Afsar and Mustaque fetched 2 wickets each. KASC in their reply, reached the target in 6 overs for the loss of 2 wickets with Nawaz hitting an unbeaten 25 runs and Rahis Khan too remained not out with 5 runs for the victory. YUCC bowler Abbas and Sabastian claimed 1 wicket each. Rahis Khan got the Man of the Match award for his 4 wicket haul.

In the other match played at ABA Ground, Khetrigao, TCMDC Thongju beat KCDO Kongpal by 3 wickets.

Batting first, KCDO batsman K Booker led the charge, scoring 43 runs from 28 balls along with Lucky Th who got 11 runs to post 88 runs for 9 wickets from 4.3 overs. All other batsmen failed to cross the double figure mark.

TCMDC bowler L Valindra bagged 4 wickets while Vishonath took 3 wickets and Nikesh picked up 1 wicket.

Chasing the target, TCMDC batsman faltered but Ram took charge of the inning, hitting 29 runs to bail out his team in 15.2 overs for 7 wickets. KCDO bowler claimed 6 wickets while Moramba got 1 wicket. TCMDC bowler Valindra was adjudged as Man of the Match.
