The Huyel Langlon Thang-Ta Association, Manipur will hold selection trials for junior boys and girls players on September 18 at its Shanglen at Yumnam Huidrom from 8 am to 5 pm for the upcoming XXVIII National Junior Thang-Ta Championship 2022 in Imphal from December 1-3.
KRC, Bolero FC, referees XI fetch wins
KRC Thoubal overcame SYSC Sangaithel by a solitary goal in 1st Maipakpi Memorial Trophy 2022 Nine a Side State Level Men's Open Football Tournament organised by Mangal Foundation, Heirok at City Club Playground.
Md Arish proved to be the hero for the KRC team as he struck the winning goal in the 21st minute of the game. In the other matches, Bolero FC drubbed SYDA FC, Kshetrigao by 5-1 goals. Kishan struck thrice to register his hat-trick goals while Sobha Singh and Anand Singh fetched one goal each for Bolero FC. Nawz Khan scored the lone goal for the SYDA team.
Referees XI beat LEYDOL Lourembam by 1-0 goals with CR Guang scoring the winning goal to collect a full point. LEYDOL player H Thoi got a yellow card in the match for rough tackle.
