K&MM Riding School trots into the semi final, beating KRYPSA Naoremthong by 7-5 goals in the 1st Imphal West District Polo Tournament 2021 organised by MHRPA at Awang Potshangbam Khullen Lampak.
K&MM Riding School riders showed urgency and took to immediate task with captain H Mohindro pumping home two quick goals in the first chukker for the lead.
KRYPSA made amends of the slow ride in the earlier minute, with some hard gallops in the second chukker with captain K Sona making connection to the goal and later H Revichon fetching the equalizer to level 2-2 goals at half time.
The tempo gains momentum in the third chukker with riders, rubbing shoulder to gain the upper hand and K&MM rider H. Mohindro makes good use of his experience, smashing home two goals while O Rozer fetch one goals. KRYPSA tightens their reign as K Sona and H Revichon struck one goal each to trail by 4-5 goals.
In the fourth chukker, KRYPSA gave a full thrust to its ride and managed to get the equalizer from H Revichon. But his hard work was overshadowed by K&MM rider H. Mohindro who hit home two goals for the victory, enroute to the semi final.
As for the fourth quarter final, MPSC(B) beat Laman Polo Club(A) by 10-2 goals to move into the semi final as well.
For the Policemen, O Suresh Singh struck four goals while teammate H Abung Khuman got three goals, T Pradeepkumar fetched two goals and Th Ranjit Singh chipped in with a goal. The two goals for the Laman team were scored by O Emoton and Abothe.
